Stories that are honest about the hard parts

We don't sanitize Scripture. Joseph's brothers really did sell him. Jonah really did run away. David really did make terrible choices. We tell children the truth — in language matched to their age, with compassion for the hard emotions involved. Every story also points to what God does in the middle of human mess: He redeems, He restores, He shows up. That's the arc children need to see — not sanitized heroes, but a faithful God.

Scripture-first

All retellings stay faithful to the biblical text. We note when we've simplified, never when we've added.

Age-adapted language

Each story exists in four versions — one per age band — with vocabulary, sentence length, and concept depth matched to development.

Narrated read-alouds

Every story is recorded in warm, expressive audio so younger children can listen while looking at illustrations.

Reflection questions included

Each story ends with 2–3 age-appropriate questions to spark conversation between parent and child.
